Avenue Road Arts School

Help your little one nurture their creative side at Avenue Road Arts School. From cartoon and illustration, to drawing and painting, clay, mixed-media, video and photography, and the performing arts, there's a class for every art-centric interest.

Avenue Road Arts School students experience a warm, congenial, and supportive environment to learn and create in. The large roster of programs are designed to allow each individual to advance at their own pace. Each class offers an enjoyable balance between challenging, fun, creative, and skill-based approaches. Students are encouraged to trust their own creative choices and develop their own unique, artistic voice.

"Training in the arts is one way to develop the qualities that young people need to prepare for life. Working on a creation from start to finish, whether a painting, a sculpture, a play or a song, fosters self-confidence and develops the skills of problem-solving, setting goals and seeing a process through to completion." says Liana Del Mastro, Director of the school.

All classes are taught by professional artists and educators with small class sizes for plenty of individual attention and guidance. The School is committed to nurturing imaginative thinking and developing skills through a large and diverse variety of programs. What's more, all Avenue Road Arts School students are given many opportunities to showcase their work both at the school and at outside venues such as galleries and theatres.

Registration is currently open for the Spring Term with classes running from Monday, April 10, 2017 to Saturday, June 17, 2017.
