Tony Hawk Lands in Canada at Toronto’s Yonge-Dundas Square
Skateboarding Icon to demo on Custom Half-Pipe to celebrate the Launch of his Signature Fashion Collection at Walmart Canada.
Skateboarding legend Tony Hawk will bring his awe-inspiring athletic skills, along with his massive, vert skateboard ramp, to Toronto’s Yonge-Dundas Square on August 18, 2016. Hawk will be celebrating the Canadian launch of his signature apparel, accessories and footwear brand at Walmart Canada. The Tony Hawk Lands in Canada event will feature Hawk along with the talents of five renowned skateboarding heavyweights, Kevin Staab, Andy Macdonald, Amelia Brodka, Lincoln Ueda, and Evan Doherty. The athletes will entertain the crowd at 8:00am with a free 45-minute public vert demo on Hawk’s personal half-pipe with surprise appearances by Hawk. Then, at 12:00pm, Hawk and all five skaters will return to perform a bonus 45-minute demo. Both shows will include product giveaways and more.

The Tony Hawk® Signature collection embodies the athlete’s signature board culture style and features a comprehensive assortment of apparel, accessories and footwear for young men and boys sizes 4-20. The brand will launch in all 405 Walmart Canada stores and online at Walmart.ca in mid-August.
