In this electronic age, there are so many cool ways that kids can connect with Santa during the holidays. While kids can still send letters the traditional way to Santa’s Post Office at: North Pole H0H 0H0 CANADA, here are other ways you can get in touch with the man in red…
Email Santa
You can write to Santa electronically. Emails are answered in English and French. Here’s the form that will get your mail straight to Santa! www.canadapost.ca/dec/santa/writesanta/emailform-e.asp
Upload your child’s name and photo on this fun Disney website and receive a personalized video message back from Santa! http://family.go.com/santaslist
Smilebox’s Dear Santa Video Card
We love Smilebox! It’s such a great website to share photos by creating slideshows, greeting cards, collages, scrapbooks and more! It’s no wonder the site also allows kids to create custom letters to Santa with a video message or photo. Then email your letter to get a reply back from Santa! www.smilebox.com/offers/santa-letter
Write to Santa at Mackenzie House
Want a more traditional activity? Send the kids to Mackenzie House (part of Toronto’s Historic Museums) to write a letter to Santa Claus! Until Saturday, December 24 – Tuesday to Friday: 12 to 4 p.m., Saturday & Sunday: 12 to 5 p.m. Please note: December 24, 12 to 3 p.m. Children love writing to Santa Claus to tell him about their Christmas wish lists. Write a personal message to Santa on a card that has been printed on an 1845 printing press. Drop the wish card into the magic post box and it will be mailed for you. Included with admission. 82 Bond Street, 416-392-6915. www.toronto.ca/culture/museums/christmas-events
Once you’ve sent your mail to Santa, you can start to keep tabs on him through NORAD. NORAD (North American Aerospace Defense Command) is the official Santa Tracker. By using high-tech systems, this site follows Santa’s whereabouts as he delivers presents to children around the world. You can find out about Santa’s whereabouts, every 5 minutes, starting on December 1st. www.noradsanta.org.

These are such great ideas! I love that there are so many portals allowing kids and other Santa believers to connect with the Jolly man during the holidays! You should definitely add to this list of Ways to Connect with Santa (maybe even consider suggesting this blog post..) > http://www.skinnyscoop.com/list/Erin/10-ways-to-connect-with-santa-on-the-web

There’s lots of great options for kids today. Far more than when I was a kid.
