Holiday Baking is a much anticipated family tradition and it’s a great activity to do with your kids. Besides being fun – it’s also a good way to introduce some simple math concepts to your children. And decorating your treats lets kids explore their creativity.

But sometimes, with busy schedules, we just don’t have the time to bake…

There are so many holiday treats you can make that really don’t require much time or baking. So grab your up and coming chefs and make some of these dazzling holiday treats.

Here are some super easy and fun recipes I found… sure to please children and grown-ups alike!

The cute snowmen pictured above are super easy to make. You can dress up store-bought or homemade cupcakes with sugars and candy, and transform them into these adorable seasonal cupcakes. More info…

These Crunchy Snowmen are as much fun for kids to make then they are to eat! More info…

A quick and easy treat to make is to dress up some marshmallows with holiday sprinkles and candy. Find some fancy straws and you’re all set. Use clear lollipop cello wrappers to dress them up and send them to school. More info…

Here’s another take on a marshmallow treat. This one’s dipped in chocolate with pretzels used for the antlers. Use candy for the eyes and nose. So cute! More info…

Not sure if you can find Nutter Butter Cookies in Canada to make these reindeer cookies but I found them to be irresistible.  Perhaps there are cookies that have a similar shape that you can use. This would be an easy project for toddlers to make. More info…

A favourite of kids of all ages, these no-bake crispy rice cereal treats can be dressed-up for the holidays. Use cookie cutters, coloured food gel, and holiday-themed sprinkles. The kids will enjoy helping with this one, but be prepared for a sticky mess!  More info…

Here’s another Rice Krispies treat along the same theme … this is a tree ornament. Provide the kids with all kinds of sprinkles, candy and icing and let their imagination take over. More info…

These stand up Christmas tree treats are super easy to make. Each tree is made from one already-made Rice Krispie Square, so it takes only 2 minutes to make. So decorating the trees becomes the amusing activity for the kids. And the stick makes it really fun to eat! More info…
