Camp Tournesol French Virtual Classes

Camp Tournesol is well known for its beloved summer camps throughout the GTA is now offering a lineup of virtual services to include French Virtual Classes which provide families with high-quality, academic, and fun online classes through our Zoom platform, in addition to much-needed employment for our university students.

There are a variety of programs and focuses to choose from:

• CampT’s French Hour: Fun and engaging programs to build verbal skills through a variety of fun activities for students ages 4 to 12.

- Books, Songs, Games, & More: A fun interactive hour for children in French immersion or French schools.
- Learn French Kinder Program: An engaging program to prepare 4 to 7 years old to enter a French program.
- Arts & Crafts Club: Learn, Create, Imagine.
- Board Games: Language, Cooperation, and Board Games in French!

• Brouillet Academy Focused Junior Programs: Academic support to students in French immersion or French schools for students in grades 1 to 6.

- Writer’s Workshop: Grammar and creative writing in French.
- Book Club: Reading out loud and reading comprehension in French.
- Conversational French: Let’s Talk French! In-depth discussions, pronunciation and vocabulary practice.

• Brouillet Academy Senior Programs: Structured academic classes aligned with the DELF certification available to students in grades 5 to 12.

- Enrich Your French: Comprehensive French practice focusing on reading, writing, speaking, listening.
- Academic DELF French Classes: Structured academic classes aligned with the DELF certification.

Our Virtual Classes are now offered through our sister company Brouillet Academy. They have been designed by our team of French second language specialists and build on our large curriculum of tools built over the years in our camps and academy. Children are given the
opportunity to:

• Converse and build their French verbal skills.
• Practice their writing skills with our beloved workbooks and other resources.
• Develop their reading and comprehension skills with age-appropriate reading materials.
• Include some fun in their day with songs, virtual camp games, and engaging interactions.
