This March Break come to school at the Oshawa Museum! Visit us in the Verna Conant Gallery at Guy House to see what a one-room schoolhouse was like at the turn of the 19th century!

Dress up like a Victorian child, learn to write on slates, but don’t get sent to the corner! Our schoolmarms and masters will show you how to mind your manners and remind you of the rules for students from 1867.

See photos of Oshawa’s oldest schools, teachers and classes. You won’t get this experience anywhere else in Oshawa!
