Only In Canada? Exhibit and March Break at the Simcoe County Museum

Mar 11, 2017 to May 4, 2017

When someone mentions Canada, what do you think of? Timbits, beavers, hockey, and snow? To commemorate Canada’s 150th birthday, the Simcoe County Museum is taking a lighthearted look at Canadian stereotypes with our Only in Canada? exhibit.

From our Mitten Challenge to our Log Drivers Waltz, guests will enjoy laugh out loud fun. Only in Canada? is open in the Simcoe Gallery from March to May 4, 2017.

For March Break, we are expanding the Only in Canada? exhibit throughout the Museum. Guest can challenge their taste buds with our Canadian Taste Test and see if they can identify true Canadian specialties from imposters or compete in any and all of the interactive games and activities set up to test your knowledge of our country.

Entrance to the Only in Canada? exhibit and March Break activities are included with your admission.

Regular Museum admission rates: Museum Members and preschoolers are free, Adult $6, Senior/Student $5, Child $4. Snowshoes are available to borrow at no additional cost but outdoor activities are weather and grounds conditions permitting.

March Break activities are available Monday to Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sundays from 1:30 to 4 p.m. For more information on this event contact the Simcoe County Museum at 705-728-3721 or visit us online
