Description

Celebrate Mom this Mother’s Day with a special day at the ROM exploring art, culture and nature. With animal encounters and hands-on art projects, you’ll be making wonderful memories throughout the galleries.

Free with Museum admission. Activities run from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm unless otherwise noted.

Learn to Camp: Venture into the Canadian wilderness! Learn how to camp from the experts. Program Partner: Parks Canada

Sciensational Sssnakes! Get up close and personal with live animals, and discover what reptile and amphibian species you might spot in your neighbourhood this spring.

Card Creations: Construct a one-of-a-kind card for someone special this Mother’s Day.

Zuul Photo Booth: Go wild for this photo station featuring the armoured dinosaur Zuul.

Meet the Aquarium Keeper: Aquarium keeper Sheldon John explains how he keeps our coral reef thriving. 11:00 am–1:00 pm

Animal Explorers: Kids ages 12 and under can team up with one of our plush Animal Explorers on a fun scavenger hunt through the ROM. 11:00 am–3:00 pm
