Date/Time

Jul 7, 2019 to Aug 25, 2019
1:30 PM until 2:30 PM

Description

What did frozen lakes have to do with summer sodas? Learn about harvesting ice, and how summer ice delivery made cool drinks possible in the 1920s.

Mix up a fruity summer soda and enjoy it on the beautiful grounds of Spadina Museum. Come up with your own soda flavor and design a bottle label. Once you're fortified with a cool drink, challenge your friends to an outdoor game like badminton, croquet, or quoits.

Spadina Museum is one of 10 Toronto Hstory Museums which explore where Toronto's many pasts, presents and futures meet, offering a glimpse of Toronto during the 1900-1930 period through the lens of the Austin family.
