e² Young Engineers North Vaughan

e² Young Engineers North Vaughan teaches kids science, math and technology using LEGO®. Programs are offered in community centres and after-school/lunch programs in the Greater Vaughan area, including Maple, Woodbridge, Concord and King City.

Current programs offered include:

Big Builders for ages 4 to 6. This enrichment program introduces preschooler children to scientific concepts through hands-on experiential learning and through building 3D models. Associating learning and fun at a young age sets students up for future success as students and creators.

The Bricks Challenge program for kids in Grades 1 to 5 uses stories and simple demonstrations to spark imagination and critical thinking. Bricks Challenge is Young Engineers' most popular enrichment program. With the use of LEGO® building blocks in conjunction with other tools and mechanical parts, specially trained educators inspire youth participants while teaching theoretical and applied principles of science, technology, mechanical engineering and math (STEM). In addition, students develop their abilities for independent learning and improve their building skills.

There is also a workshop designed for children with special needs. The Young Engineers' Special Needs LEGO® Bricks Program is a multi-sensory learning experience, which can be tailored specifically to your child's needs. It allows children with ASD, ADHD and Learning Disabilities to learn while expressing themselves creatively and having fun with friends their own age. Working closely with professionals in special education, this curriculum will help children on the autism spectrum to learn, play and grow.

All classes are being taught in Hebrew or English.

If you're looking for school break programs, e² Young Engineers holiday LEGO® camps take place during half term and term breaks, including the summer. Camps are typically one week long and run for 8 hours each day. Some camps offer a different type of building activity each day while other camps focus on a particular project that may take up to one week to complete.

Want to host an exciting birthday party? Kids love building with LEGO® bricks, so why not have a LEGO® birthday party? e2 Young Engineers has created a fun and educational birthday party experience for kids of all ages. Your child and all of his or her guests will receive a Young Engineers LEGO® kit. Each guest will get to build and play with his or her very own model. There are many models to choose from. Children will learn as they build the model together. It's an exciting and different birthday party experience building LEGO® models, that everyone will enjoy. Guests also take part in many other fun activities.
