Named one of the Top 100 Festivals in Ontario, Winterfest is a great way to celebrate the Winter season with adventures that the whole family will enjoy. Outdoor activities include a polar bear swim, horse drawn wagon rides, dogsled rides, mini-tube run, lumberjack shows, giant snow slide, ice maze, and more. The Festival of Ice features 300 pound blocks of ice carved into spectacular, themed sculptures. The February Blues Festival features great music in venues throughout Barrie and neighbouring communities.

Don't miss our other fun activities! Professional ice carving, ice painting, inflatables, carnival games, snowshoeing, free hot chocolate, outdoor ice rink (bring your skates), live DJ, a Game Asylum mobile video game theatre, horse drawn wagon rides, and Winter wonderland crafts in the library (McLean C.C. branch from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm). The Richmond Hill Winter Carnival is a weekend of affordable fun and entertainment organized by volunteers to celebrate the community of Richmond Hill in a welcoming atmosphere. Bookmark February 7th, 8th, and 9th for some family fun. Carnival weekend highlights include face painting, kids rides, pony rides, horse Drawn sleigh rides, Subtonic Monk Mobile (make your own music on this crazy contraption!), rock climbing, clowns and magicians, free skating, kids skating races (Saturday only), Sunday morning pancake breakfast, Jungle Cat World interactive show, and more.

Vaughan's 25th annual WinterFest

This fun-filled event will take place from 10:00 am to 3:30 pm and feature free outdoor stage entertainment, the IceZone, midway zone, video gaming zone, horse drawn wagon rides, lumberjack show, face painting, art, science, and musical workshops. This year's event will also feature a floor curl program which brings the olympic sport of curling indoors. Entertainment highlights include Harry and his Bucket Full of Dinosaurs and performances by Canadian pop star Tyler Shaw, Bounce Entertainment, Puppet Tamer and Ventriloquist Tim Holland, and the Singing Princesses, and more! Great food will also be available for purchase in the food zone.

2014 Arctic Adventure in Aurora

Vendors will also be selling BeaverTails®, hot dogs, hamburgers, hot chocolate, and coffee. Please note: all activities are weather-permitting. Choose from a host of family activities, including professional ice carving, outdoor Winter games, hockey shoot out, ice fishing, face painting, and many more! Live entertainment, arctic golf, arctic bounce, mini floor curling, and mini snow tubing provided by Snow Valley Ski Resort.
