Science Rendezvous 2017




You don't need to be a science geek to enjoy Science Rendezvous, a one day, cross-Canada multidisciplinary science celebration featuring plenty of programming for kids. More than 350 simultaneous events are taking place across partnering university and college campuses, research hospitals, cultural, and public sites, on Saturday, May 13, 2017. 

Science Rendezvous is the largest event of its kind, which celebrates of the amazing feats of science and engineering in our communities. The annual event takes science out of the lab and into the streets. From the serious to the quirky, these free events will engage adults, families and youth in a day of fun and exploration with science.

It's a great opportunity to experience world-leading science & technology, right in your own backyard. Visitors of all ages can learn and explore the exciting opportunities in science and technology available in Canada, while meeting the people who make it happen. This all-day FREE event has something for everyone!

This will be an extra special installment of Science Rendezvous as it marks its 10th anniversary and Canada’s 150th birthday. Take a time-travelling journey through 150 years of Canadian research, innovation, and achievement in S.T.E.M.
