Toronto Christmas Market Returns

Is the Toronto Christmas Market Returning? Yup. Toronto’s landmark holiday event, the Toronto Christmas Market, returns to the Distillery Historic District November 16 to December 23.

The magic and joy that the holidays bring is needed right now,” says Mathew Rosenblatt, Executive Producer of the Toronto Christmas Market. “We created this festival as a way to showcase our city’s love of the holiday season and our deep longing to live together in peace, friendship and solidarity. If we can put a smile on people’s faces and make them feel the way they once felt about the holidays as a child, then it’s all worth it.

This year’s festival will feature a diverse lineup of entertainment, multiple interactive installations with a focus on coming together and, well, of course, Santa and his elves.

The Toronto Christmas Market continues to be considered one of the leading holiday Markets in the world” says Rosenblatt. “We’re grateful for this recognition and will continue to work hard to bring more magic, romance, joy and hope to the city of Toronto.”

The Toronto Christmas Market is open Tuesday to Sunday. There will be no increase in admission prices this year. Access to the event remains free during the week and $6.00 on weekends, starting at 5:00pm on Fridays.

Other highlights of the festival include one of the city’s largest real Christmas trees, hundreds of unique and locally handcrafted products and an eclectic mix of European and Canadian foods and classic festive drinks. Free Santas photos for families and pets will also be offered.
