Stanley the Hamster Makes Board Book Debut

Stanley the hamster we have come to love is back with all of his cuteness to appeal to the youngest reader. Stanley, a diligent and ever-helpful hamster, first appeared in British author William Bee's Stanley the Builder and Stanley's Garage, hardcover picture books released by Peachtree in 2014. Peachtree now has 100,000 copies in print of its five Stanley picture books.

The good-natured rodent is now being introduced to a younger audience with a pair of concept board books: Stanley's Colors and Stanley's Shapes.

Stanley's Colors, Stanley's got his red helmet on and is ready to fix his car while helping youngsters learn their colours. There's a red car, a yellow motorbike, and even a pink balloon! The last page spread puts the colors together for a rainbow of fun.

If learning colours isn't enough, Stanley's got his rectangular suitcases packed to teach shapes. Stanley and Little Woo are on vacation learning about shapes. Join them as they spot circles, squares, triangles, and more!

Both books are available at Chapters-Indigo.
