Tubeez Baby Bath Support Recall

Product Name: Tubeez Baby Bath Support

Description: This recall involves the Tubeez Baby Bath Support. The bath support is a rigid plastic seat, attached to a foam mat for use in the bathtub. The foam mat is either blue or grey and features multiple suction cups on the underside. There are two styles, B9150BL and B9150GY. Date codes 1251-0916-ENJ-NACN and 1434-0617-ENJ-NACN are printed on the underside of the mat, on the packaging and on the bath support. The recalled baby bath supports were sold from April 2017 to October 2018.

Hazard: The bath support’s suction cups may not adhere to the bath surface, making it unstable and cause it to possibly tip over while in use. In addition, an infant can slip underneath the front support bar and become lodged under water posing a drowning hazard. As of October 9, 2018, the company has received no reports of incidents or injuries in Canada or the United States. Approximately 5,109 units of the affected products were sold in Canada.

What to do: Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled baby bath support and either return it to the point of purchase or contact Abond Group Inc. for a refund. For more information, consumers may contact Abond Group Inc. by telephone at 1-800-886-7947 ext 399, from 9 am to 5 pm EST, or by email.
