Tim Hortons Southside Shuffle Blues & Jazz Festival

Join us in the newly re-developed Memorial Park including our Angus Mackay MainStage, Southstage, Mississippi Dave de Eyre Square, Vendor Village, Food Court and Beer Gardens and even more Live Entertainment in the restaurants, pubs, coffee houses, clubs and outdoor cafes of Port Credit, there is something for everyone at the Shuffle. JUNIOR JAM takes place Sunday, September 12th > 12:00pm. Angus MacKay Memorial Park Mainstage. The Sick Kids Junior Jam has always been a successful event on the Sunday lineup of the Southside Shuffle. Young, yet serious, Blues enthusiasts up to the age of 18, have the chance to perform on stage with Mark 'Bird' Stafford and his band. Year after year, the amazing, young talent that turns up for this event continuously astounds Mark and audience members.

Brooklin Harvest Festival

SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 11th, 10 am - 3:30 pm. Grass Park - Downtown Brooklin. The Harvest Marketplace sets the scene with its array of fruits & vegetables, flowers & plants. There are crafts & games for kids with an assortment of activities to entertain and amaze. Enjoy strolling through the park and taking an old fashion horse & wagon ride or visiting the pet show. Demonstrations, displays and even a pie eating contest are all found at the Festival. Come enjoy entertainment throughout the day and so much more. Don't forget in the morning to join the Annual Harvest Run/Walk - Brooklin Natural Health Centre, Senior Fest at the United Church, and in the afternoon visit the Youth Fest - Brooklin Community Centre, 45 Cassels Road East 1-4pm.

Grandparents’ Day weekend at Colborne Lodge

(Musical Play) Ages 3 - 10 by Zenon Skrzypczyk Music by Martyn Skrzypczyk. Our colourful, music-filled production, adapted from the Brothers Grimm, tells the story in song and dance of the two children who must escape their absent minded step-mother and the wacky, wicked witches who tempt them with treats and their candy house.
