Alistair Ant Free March Break Library Shows
Springtime is just around the corner. Celebrate by bringing the kids to one of our March break library shows! We'll be presenting a fun and engaging interactive musical concert for the whole family, full of songs about spring and Saint Patrick's Day. Downsview Park's Spring Thaw March Break Camp
This interactive, educational and energetic day camp will provide your child with an unforgettable week of fun! Each day will have a different theme such as wildlife, science, sports, art and nature. Campers will explore the Canada Forest; play sports at the Hangar, Downsview Park's Sports Centre; enjoy arts, crafts, and hands-on activities in the Discovery Centre; meet some special guests; and be introduced to the natural and cultural history of the area. This affordable camp is for 6 - 10 year olds and will operate from March 15 to March 19, 2010 - 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. Cost for the week is only $80 per child! Family Fun at Casa Loma continues into Ghostly March Break Evenings!
Monday, March 15, Tuesday, March 16 and Wednesday March 17. Time: 7:00PM. Renowned Ghost Trackers Michelle Desrochers and Patrick Cross host three special evenings of ghost findings at Casa Loma. The fun begins with a 45-minute general information session of ghost tracking at Casa Loma that includes Spirit sightings and a special peek at the research equipment used by the hosts. Next, all participants will take part in a one of a kind investigative tour of Casa Loma. Participants are asked to bring their digital or disposable cameras. We strongly suggest a small compass for children. Price: Children (up to age 14) $15.00 + GST, Adults (15 +) $25.00 + GST. Age: Although this program is geared to families, some parents may not find the content suitable for young children. Pre registration is necessary.
