First Time In Ontario And Only At The Toronto Zoo!

The Toronto Zoo offers up interaction and fun with the new and exclusive live exhibit. Stingray Bay-A Touching Experience. This exhibit will engage visitors and provide them with the opportunity to humanely and safely interact with these incredible creatures.

Situated in our Group Events Tent, within Zellers Discovery Zone, Stingray Bay will feature up to 25 Cownose and Southern Stingrays. Guests can also participate in special feedings and learn all about these graceful animals with keeper talks. Don't forget to drop by to pick up a Zoo-Venir at our Stingray Bay Retail Outlet!

The stringrays will be supported in 20 inch deep, 1,450 square foot, and 60,500 litre salt water habitat with waterfall and state-of-the-art life support system. Standard hand wash stations will be available for visitors to use. Pool was specifically designed for easy and gentle navigation of the Stingrays plus a mid-section stingray resting area within the pool.

Stingray Bay runs from Friday, May 16 to October 2008. Tickets* are only $3 and FREE to children 3 and under.
