Ceramics Canada Toy Drive
Like years in the past, we're collecting unwrapped toys for Toy Mountain. This years is a little different in one way... all the toys collected will be donated through the Oshawa area only! Help us build Toy Mountain by dropping off unwrapped new toys to Ceramics Canada anytime before December 21st. Additionally, we'll have a Toy Mountain Money Jar at our cash counter to collect cash that we'll use to buy Gift Cards and gifts for older kids.

The Bata Shoe Museum "Warm the Sole" Sock Drive
Spread the gift of warmth in our community—from the bottom of our hearts to the bottom of our feet. Socks are one of the first items people request when asking for assistance, and they are a staple of health care for the homeless because they keep feet warm and dry. Remember how good it feels to put on clean new socks? Help give that same joy to people in need. Give a small comfort that carries a big impact. The Sock Drive launches on World Kindness Day – November 13. Donated socks will be collected at the Museum and distributed through the Out of the Cold program. To help kick things off, on November 13 beginning at 5:30 pm volunteers from Casting Off the Cold will be at the Museum to demonstrate knitting techniques. On Saturday November 15 and Sunday November 16, donate a new pair of socks (preferably white athletic socks) at the Museum's Admission Desk and get in free!
