Anne of Green Gables: A Canadian Icon at 100 – An Exhibit

This is a new exhibit celebrating Lucy Maude Montgomery's Canadian classic, curated by Irene Gammel at the Modern Literature and Culture Research Center at Ryerson University. This exhibit presents the surprising and diverse inspirations that gave birth to the big-eyed, freckle-faced iconic redhead known around the world, Anne of Green Gables. Included with regular admission. Regular Admission: Adults $5.66*, Seniors & Youths $4.72*, Children $3.77* (*plus GST). Paid parking at Casa Loma. For Close Up Animal Encounters and Lots of Family Fun. Opening For the Season on April 26th 2008 Our popular Kids Zoo opens for the season and it’s FREE with general Zoo admission! Bring the family – they’ll be picking up pointers on five Canadian habitats while they: Enjoy close up encounters with storybook domestic animals like pigs, miniature horses, goats, birds – and skunks! Burrow through a prairie dog tunnel and go nose to nose with the furry inhabitants! Explore a giant aviary, home to wild birds and animals. Dig for dinosaur bones. See the world from the inside of a turtle egg. Play in our two-storey treehouse, swoop down a giant slide, and much more!

Visiting Ships at Harbourfront

Visiting Ships – May through October – John Quay – Harbourfront Centre periodically plays host to tall ships and Coast Guard vessels. The public is often invited free of charge, to board some of these vessels, tour the ship and meet the crew. Stingray Bay - A Touching Experience

First time in Ontario and only at the Toronto Zoo! The Toronto Zoo offers up interaction and fun with the new and exclusive live exhibit. Stingray Bay-A Touching Experience. This exhibit will engage visitors and provide them with the opportunity to humanely and safely interact with these incredible creatures. Situated in our Group Events Tent, within Zellers Discovery Zone, Stingray Bay will feature up to 25 Cownose and Southern stingrays. Guests can also participate in special feedings and learn all about these graceful animals with keeper talks. Don't forget to drop by to pick up a Zoo-Venir at our Stingray Bay Retail Outlet! The stringrays will be supported in a 60,500 litre salt water habitat with waterfall and state-of-the-art life support system. Standard hand wash stations will be available for visitors to use. Tickets are only $3 and FREE to children 3 and under.
