Whale Of A Time provides a variety of at home children's parties in and around Durham Region. Choose from an array of baking, craft, jewellry or theme parties. Custom parties available for Holidays and special events, such as Christmas, Halloween or the end of the school year.

Princess Party
If your child loves fairy tales, then a visit from a princess would be perfect. Watch as each child is transformed into a pretty little princess, complete with tiara, wands, make-up and nail painting. Children listen to classic fairy tales as they create their own paper doll love story. Each child gets to keep their costume and be a princess forever!

Baking Party
If you’ve never eaten a snickerdoodle, now’s your chance. Future stars of the food network can choose any selection from our many fun and delicious cookie recipes: chocolate chip, snickerdoodle, sugar or oatmeal chocolate raisin. And it doesn’t matter who eats the last one, since all guests create their own mason jar of cookie mix for future baking.

Craft Party
Would your child love turning a flowerpot into an ice cream cone, a snowman or a chick? If yes, then this is the best party for him/her.

Jewelry Party
If your child is interested in beautiful jewelry, now’s the chance for them to design and create their very own. Strings of elegant glass beads become necklaces, bracelets and earrings. For youngsters in the 4-5 year age group, we offer appropriate beads for creating necklaces and bracelets.

Knight Party
Dressed in crested pinnies, these Medieval Knights can discuss their upcoming battle plans as they design and colour their own shields of armour to hang in their bedroom. Piñata included (requires use of scissors).

Pirate Party
Imagine a band of merry (or maybe scary) pirates as they hunt for buried treasure, and then decorate their own treasure chest in which to hide it. Children learn an exciting action song to sing on future voyages. Basic costumes and piñata included. Each child returns home with their special creation.
