Allan Gardens is large conservatory within a park. It is a unique horticultural experience. The grounds of 13 acres are laid out with flowerbeds, paths, a fountain, and mature trees and shrubbery. Indoors, there is a vast conservatory (16,000 square feet) which includes: the historic Palm House and five greenhouses for public displays: the Arid House, the Tropical Landscape House, the Cool Temperature House and the Tropical Houses.
