The butterfly conservatory houses 30 species of native butterflies plus the migrating Monarch. Display boards feature full colour photographs of each species and information on their food plants and habits. Their life cycle showing the many stages of their growth is fully illustrated. Not only a most attractive exhibit but also an informative and educational one with beautiful display gardens.

Humber Nurseries is pleased to present "Nature's Little Miracles" in the form of an Observation Beehive located in to Butterfly Conservatory. Stocked with butterflies from May To September. Self-conducted tours can be made at any time during regular business hours. T

here are information boards complete with colour photographs of all the butterflies, their habits, life cycle and food plants. The Nursery also features giant fish tanks (you can feed fish), frogs, tadpoles, crayfish, bull frogs and more. Admission: $3.00 per person, $2.00 for 16 and under with proceeds going to the Ontario Special Olympics. Confirm rates and hours before going as these may change.
