Camp Otterdale is a place where campers and staff forge life-long friendships, master many new skills, become more independent and have a lot of fun! Cool Camp Programs

There are six major activity periods each day. Campers have a choice of activities, one of which is reserved for a swimming lesson. During the day, campers are also offered one hour of quiet time to rest, read, write a letter or plan an upcoming event with their counsellors. During evening programs, the entire camp comes together to enjoy special activities, games, campfires, skits, regattas, and much more. Camp activities include: Arts & Crafts, Golf Skills, Drama, Woodworking, Archery, Sailing, Windsurfing, Snorkelling, Tennis, Mountain Biking, Kayaking, Waterskiing, Canoeing, Survival, Camp Farm, Glass Etching, Climbing, Swimming, Hiking, "Special" and lots more!

We choose our staff with care

Qualified, dedicated, responsible, safety oriented, and fun loving describe the leaders who will contribute to your child's experience at Otterdale. All staff are chosen for their leadership ability, skill in caring for children and excellence in instructing camp activities. Counsellors are former campers who share the common interest of working with young people.

Each cabin group of 10 campers has three staff members. The team of three consists of two junior staff members and a more experienced counsellor between the ages of 18 and 22. In addition to their counselling duties the staff also instruct at least two different activities each day.

How to get there: Camp Otterdale is on the eastern shore of beautiful Otter Lake. We are approximately half-way between Kingston and Ottawa on Highway 15, about 4 km south of Lombardy.
