Host to many happy campers since 1944, and one of Canada’s finest co-ed, residential, international camps for youth, Wabikon is dedicated to traditional ideals of personal development, friendship and cooperation. 6-17 year old boys & girls from around the world are offered a complete general program in a magnificent large island setting. Wabikon’s cooperative camp philosophy is evident in the balance of individual and group activity. Qualified, attentive, responsible Staff and C.I.T.s contribute to Wabikon’s reputation for well-managed fun and skills development. The staff/camper ratio is 1:3.
ACTIVITIES: swimming, sailing, windsurfing, canoeing, kayaking, snorkeling, synchronized swimming, Red Cross/RLSS instruction, field sports, beach volleyball, tennis, archery, dance and drama, eco-skills, arts and crafts, ropes course, fishing and mountain biking on the old growth forest trails of Temagami Island. Activities are taught and examined by certified instructors.

TRANSPORTATION: Wabikon offers escorted bus transportation from Toronto, Ottawa and Montreal and also has an excellent hospitality (Meet & Greet) program for long distance travelers.
BONUS: In addition to the regular camp program, Wabikon offers a tripping program specially geared to the canoeing enthusiast who is over 13 years of age. Campers participate in 8 or 15 day long trips and often return for a second and third opportunity to experience a true wilderness trip.
