Hockey Opportunity Camp is a residential children's camp that has been privately owned and operated since 1966. Children from all over the world aged 7-16 come to experience exceptional hockey instruction while also enjoying a variety of land and water based camp activities on beautiful Eagle Lake.

Our Hockey Program is designed to challenge players of all levels of playing ability. Drills are designed to challenge each camper individually, emphasizing both technical and tactical skill development. Each day, children take part in a power skating session (1 hr), skill development session (1.25 hr) and dry land training (1.5 hr). All players take home a detailed written evaluation based on their development over the week.

In addition to hockey training, each camper participates daily in two camp instructional activities. Experienced instructors lead camp activities that are skills based, age appropriate and fun. Campers work through a series of skill progressions allowing them to achieve award levels and/or participation certificates in each activity.

Two of our most popular camp instructional activities are water skiing and mountain biking. Our Water Skiing Program is one of the largest in the province. Based on the camper's level of ability and interest, one of seven provincially (OWSA) accredited ski staff provides instruction on many different disciplines of the sport. The Mountain Biking Program is designed to teach campers about all aspects of the sport including bike safety and maintenance.

Other camp programs offered include Archery, Sports/Wall and Low Ropes, Outdoor Adventure, Kayaking, Snorkeling, Boardsailing, Wet 'n Wild and In-Line Roller Hockey.
