Sew Be It Studio is a Toronto based company committed to promoting the art of sewing, knitting, theatrical costuming and all the things that creative hands can make. Our classes and workshops are offered in a fully equipped, uniquely comfortable and inspiring atmosphere. Our instructors are renowned experts in their industry and we provide all the machines (industrial or domestic), including sergers for the students to use in class, at no extra cost. Programs & Workshops

Beginner Sewing for Tweens: If you are between 8 and 13 and are itching to stitch, this sewing class is for you. You will learn the basics: hand stitching and how to use a sewing machine. You get to choose your own project to practice the basics. Your practice will help you start to perfect your ability to use a commercial pattern, and then to fit, construct and finish a garment. Learn these DIY basics and start to create your own fashion aesthetic. Learn how to make your own clothes!

Summer Camp for Young Fashionistas

We have fantastic and exciting Summer camp programs for young fashionistas. There are unique and creative lessons for each day of the program - this way the students have enough time to complete their projects and are not bored by repetitive lessons. Also the program can be catered to the student's particular interests and unique schedule. Sign up for as many or as few of the summer sessions as you like. Each Session is one week in length. We will help to unleash your creativity, develop your individual design sense and build confidence. We are committed to making your fashion camp experience a creative and memorable one.

March Break Camp

This is not your typical camp. It's not just a break for the kids, but for parents too.
We will dedicate this time off to making fabulous fashion accessories and creative clothing. Students will be able to choose various projects to make and they will be encouraged to add their own design interpretations. We even take the students out shopping for fabric.

We recommend early registration for all our programs due to limited enrolment.
