The Expedition

Before our expedition even begins, the birthday person has a very important role to play.... Choosing the specific animal guests that will be presented.

On the day of the Creature Quest expedition, guests will learn about the natural history and personality of the specially selected animals.

After the brief introduction and questions, guests may have the opportunity to hold/touch the animal (see Our Animals page for details). Of course, the birthday person gets to choose which animal he or she would like to visit with first.

At the end of the expedition, guests will receive small prizes and the birthday person receives an additional special gift!

What's Involved

Party programs are a mix of education, sharing and animal interaction of one sort or another. We find that participants get the most of this combination of learning about the animals, sharing experiences and actually interacting.

Our typical animal party includes two animal presenters, and the majority of the time two animals are introduced at one time. All information is geared for the average age of the participants.

Birthday Party Options

Creature Quest currently offers three birthday party options to choose from:

45 minutes option
Recommended for children ages 3-5 years.
Recommended 5-15 participants, 25 maximum
6-8 animals.

1 hour to 1 hour 15 minutes option
Recommended for people 6 years old plus.
Recommended 5-15 participants, 25 maximum
8-12 animals, your choice.

Toronto Botanical Garden option
Includes a 45 minute to 1 hour animal party plus the rental of their fabulous facility. Great deal. Recommended 5-15 participants
6-12 animals depending on time option chosen
