UCanDoIt! is a bilingual traveling woodworking program that puts young hands and minds to work. UCanDoIt! supplies large projects for team building events, seniors evenings, fundraisers or children’s events. If you are a party planner and want to offer you clients something different we can work with you to find a project to build regardless what age group, business or event.

BIRTHDAY PARTIES

If you are looking for a unique birthday party for your son or daughter, book a UCanDoIt! Woodworking party. UCanDoIt! will arrive at your home or wherever you are holding your party with all of the material necessary to build an age appropriate project that you have chosen for your child. Every guest at the party will take home a working project built from scratch. You and your child choose from an extensive list of projects. Some examples are a race car, birdhouse, musical instrument, treasure box, air boat, helicopter or windmill. A birthday party with UCanDoIt! will teach your child and their guests basic building principals while improving their co-ordination and boosting their confidence. They all will leave with a sense of pride in learning the beauty of making a work of wooden art with their own hands. No store bought lootbags can provide this.

BUY-A-KIT

Instead of giving your children a store bought toy, why not work with them and build a UCanDoIt! project yourselves? We have taken our most popular projects and made them into kits so that you can build them at home with your children. The kits come complete with all the pre-cut pieces, nails and any other parts required to build the project. The instructions are online. To order, please be ready to provide us with your address, phone number and number of kits. Have fun building a project that you and your child will remember for a lifetime.

SCHOOL PROGRAMS

UCanDoIt! offer classes that are very flexible and often tailor-made for the individual event. Since 1983, UCanDoIt! has offered both in-class and after-school carpentry programs to over 110,000 students ranging from age 3 to 13 at schools, daycares and camps across Ontario.

You can choose many creative projects from windmills, paddles boats, tower cranes and robotic arms to treasure boxes, mechanical butterflies and motion machines. Our regular classes are 90 minutes long but we also offer 4, 6 , 8 and 10 week lunch and after school programs where the students build larger more complicated projects.

Our classes and projects are not only fun for students to do; many of them link to a certain aspect of the Science and Technology Curriculum that is taught in all schools in Ontario.
