Art Works Art School is a community based art school whose mandate is to introduce adults, children and teens to the enriching world of art making. We offer art instruction to ages 3 yrs old, 4 & 5, 6 to 11, 12 to 15, 15 to 17, & adults 17 years & older, with special emphasis on the development of visual awareness, imagination and comfort with materials. Our instructors are qualified teachers who receive enthusiastic reviews from their students.

Birthday Parties at Art Works Art School

Are you the parent of a creative child ? Do they have a birthday coming up and you want to make it special and unique? If your child is between the ages of 5 and 16, why not celebrate this special occasion with an "ART PARTY!"

Party activities cover a wide range of options: drawing, painting, printmaking, bookmaking, lanterns, painted T-shirts, and sculpture. For the younger child, we offer capes, crowns, masks, wands, puppets with theatres and backdrops. For the older pre-teen to teen, we adapt some of the above activities and also offer introductory painting in watercolour or acrylic. We have 18 activities to choose from! We will provide you with invitations, an inviting decorated food room (complete with streamers, balloons, table cloths, tables and chairs) as well as a fully stocked art room. Children & Teen Summer Camps

Art Works Art School is a community based art school whose mandate is to introduce adults, children and teens to the enriching world of art making. We provide art summer camps for children aged 3 to 15, with special emphasis on the development of visual awareness, imagination and comfort with materials. Camps are available for 1/2 days (mornings or afternoons) and full days. Programs are based on week camp is booked and the age of the child. March Break Camps

March Break at Art Works Art School offers an array of exciting and creative projects for children ages 4 to 11 years old. Exploring a variety of materials, students may explore drawing, painting, printmaking and sculpture as well as an arts and crafts approach to art making. Students will be creating truly unique and beautiful projects. Half day and full day programmes are available with am and pm snack included. Family Sundays at Art Works Art School

On the second Sunday of the month, Art Works Art School offers the opportunity for families to make art together.
