Star Potential Summer Musical Theatre Camp 2008
Session One – July 7-18 Session Two – August 11-22
Age Range: 7-14 (some students may be very experienced in one or more areas of singing, acting or dancing but no experience is necessary)
Students attend the camp Monday –Friday 9am-4pm everyday during the dates of their camp. The students learn vocal technique, dance choreography, acting techniques, comedy improvisation and a number of musical theatre numbers which culminate in a showcase at the end of each session. Students train with four different entertainment industry professionals during their time at Star Potential Studios. In addition to learning the hard work of an actor – there are lots of fun games and time to meet new friends! The camps last summer were very successful. The students had a lot of fun and felt really good about their showcase at the end. In fact, most of the summer students have continued to train at Star Potential year round! We will be working on a variety of numbers from High School musical to Hair Spray – it’ll be a blast!
