Wings of Paradise is situated on a 117 acre site which includes the environmentally sensitive Kossuth Bog. The 25,000 square foot facility includes a 10,800 square foot indoor tropical garden featuring 1000’s of free flying butterflies from around the world, over 75 different varieties of tropical plants, waterfalls, streams, reflecting pools, tropical finches, chinese painted quail and red-eared slider turtles.

Butterflies The Wings of Paradise Butterfly Conservatory has 2000-3000 live free-flying butterflies on exhibit year round. Our tropical butterflies are raised in Costa Rica and the Philippines.
Birds Our collection of exotic birds is always expanding at Wings of Paradise! We now have over 12 bird species that fly freely in the Conservatory.
Plants Over 80 species of tropical plants are showcased in our year-round Conservatory, including Palms, Ferns, Jasmine, Banana & more... The tropical gardens at Wings of Paradise create a lush and colourful backdrop to the free-flying butterflies.
Live Bugs In addition to butterflies, Wings of Paradise has many live insects and other critters on display. From Tarantulas, Madagascar Hissing Cockroaches, and Giant African Millipedes, you are sure to be impressed by this diverse assortment of creepy crawlies.
