Humber Arboretum Nature Centre specializes in curriculum specific natural history and environmental based programs for groups of all ages. The Arboretum is situated on 250 acres along the West branch of the historic Humber River and comprises a variety of habitats which attract many plants and wildlife.

Each of our programs is half day in duration. All programs have lots of participatory activities to keep students interested and involved. The students should be suitably dressed for outdoor activities.

TEACHER WORKSHOPS

Perhaps the faculty at your school would like to become more familiar with the plants and wildlife of the Arboretum or learn some new nature activities to use in the classroom or school yard. Give us a call to arrange a workshop to suit your needs. Lunch can be provided. This is a great way to spend a professional development day.
