Cinnamon French Toast Sticks

By: Feed Me I'm Hungry

Prep Time: 2-3 min
Cook Time: 5-10 min
Yield: 16 sticks (4 whole slices)

Ingredients:
4 eggs
4 slices whole grain bread
1-2 tsp natural cane sugar or maple syrup
1-2 tsp ghee*or butter

1. Whisk the eggs while adding cinnamon and syrup.
2. Slice each piece of bread into 4 strips. Remove the crusts if desired.
3. Dip each strip into the egg mixture.
4. Heat a non-stick skillet. Grease pan with some ghee or butter. Cook strips until crisp and brown on both sides.
5. Serve sprinkled with cane sugar or drizzled with butter and maple syrup.

*Ghee is clarified butter and can be purchased ready-made.
