They've only been in business for a few short months, but Zia & Tia Pure Luxury Organics is already fulfilling many dreams. While the company sought to provide luxury organic, ecological, pure & green products, founders Julie Jonas and her husband Danny Roberge also wanted to find a way to make a difference... they found both.

After adopting their daughter Zia from China, Jonas, wanted to raise her with a conscience and appreciation for her planet, in the greenest environment possible. The family was already living green and making responsible choices; eating organic food; supporting local organic farmers; sleeping in organic beds; using organic chemical free skincare products; reusing, composting & recycling; and earning a living for the past 12 years from creating the best, organic vegan sweets on the planet at Skinnimini Edibles Inc.

But on a daily basis, they were consumed with other lingering thoughts, reminiscent of their daughter's journey. How many other children were there? Where did they come from? It was during these moments that they realized that their love and concern could be turned into improving children's lives. This became their mission. And their inspiration? It came from Zia. Zia & Tia Pure Luxury Organics was born.

Zia & Tia Pure Luxury Organics offers organic, eco friendly, fair-trade and green products for babies, mama's, family, yoga, home, and let's not forget those other family members - pets. Their product line is extensive and includes clothing, shoes, hand knits, baby blankets, mattresses, bedding, furniture, yoga & meditation products, skincare, baby slings, diapers, organic vegan sweets, toys, bath towels, and more!

Says Jonas, "As owners, we walk the walk, but we don't use it to sell products or our story. As we wait for our second daughter Tiana (Tia), we really feel that we are actively doing something that she and others like her may benefit from".

And you can be certain that Jonas is doing everything to help precious little ones and making a difference in their lives. With every purchase made at Zia & Tia, a percentage of the sale is donated to Half the Sky Foundation - an organization that provides nurturing care programs for China's Orphaned Children. "So every sale we make makes a difference". Through their partnership with Trees For the Future, Zia & Tia Pure Luxury Organics plants a tree for every product sold. They also donate all the proceeds from their HALF THE SKY'S MEI MEI Book.

Feeling good about the low impact way that they live and supporting various organizations is just part of their life. There is an ancient Chinese proverb that says - "An invisible red thread connects those destined to meet, regardless of time, place, or circumstance," the saying goes. "The thread may stretch or tangle, but never break."

And it's this invisible red thread that keeps them connected to the millions of little Zias & Tias left behind.
