The Great Vehicle Adventure

The Great Vehicle Adventure

By: Toronto4Kids

Is that a kid driving that Army Tank? There goes another kid in the Lamborghini 560! The Great Vehicle Adventure must be in town!

Every once in awhile, an event comes along that truly is extraordinary and Toronto4Kids is proud to be sponsoring a Show that is so unique. It is a must see for the entire family! Imagine over 100,000 sq ft jammed full of over 140 of "The Coolest Vehicles On Earth". Now, let the kids, both big and little, sit in and "Drive" these outstanding modes of transportation. The Great Vehicle Adventure is coming to town April 25, 2009 at The Toronto Congress Centre. It's the only Show of its kind that puts you in the driver's seat!

Founder and owner Tara Solmes is so excited about exhibiting in Toronto, her home town: "I can't believe how many Toronto businesses and individuals have embraced our Show and are pulling out all the stops to make The Great Vehicle Adventure a great event. We have something for everyone, and I think families will create lasting memories. For kids who know what they want to be when they grow up, you might have the chance to try it out at The Great Vehicle Adventure. "

The Company's Head of Research is Tara's six year old son Mac, who was "arrested" one day by The Las Vegas Police Department. The officers brought Mac outside to see their motorcycles and put him on the seat, turned on the lights, siren and radio and let Mac pretend to drive a real police vehicle. Mac told the story to his friends who were all fascinated with his experience and that day, The Great Vehicle Adventure was born!

When The Great Vehicle Adventure says there is something for everyone, they truly mean it. Just imagine (and this is only a small sampling of what is scheduled to appear) being behind the wheel of:

Smaller Family Members - a fire truck, police car, military vehicles, motorcycles, an amphibious bus, stretch limousines, enormous tow trucks, garbage trucks, an excavator, cement truck and so on and so on and so on...

Medium-Sized Family Members - If you haven't sat in a Canadian Forces Army Tank, Emergency Task Force Unit, Sony's 85 ft. Big Rig PlayStation Bus, Subaru's Rally Race Car, BRP's Unbelievable Spyder Motorcycles, a real CF F-18 Simulator, or tons of cool Honda equipment, now is your only opportunity and it is all this under one roof!

Big Family Members - Ok moms and dads, when was the last time you went to a show with the family and you were just as entertained as your kids? Get ready to see and "drive" the only Lamborghini 560 in Canada, an Aston Martin, Bentley (Bentley is unveiling its 2010 Bentley Convertible GTC Speed at the Show), Jag, Armored Hummer, to name only a few!

The Great Vehicle Adventure is pleased to be supporting Kids Helping Kids, a charitable organization that empowers and supports children who want to make a difference in their community. The Great Vehicle Adventure also ensures many Toronto Children's Charitable Organizations are invited to the event free of charge for a full day of entertainment, thanks to our Sponsors. We have children attending from organizations such as Make A Wish Foundation, Autism Ontario, Camp Trillium, Big Brothers/Big Sisters, and Ronald MacDonald House.

Ready, Set, Drive, as the Show opens at 8:00am sharp, at The Toronto Congress Centre (650 Dixon Road) when OPP Commissioner Julian Fantino, and General Lewis MacKenzie cut the ribbon to the only Show dedicated to putting you in the driver's seat!
