Dinosaurs Alive! Toronto ZooBy: Toronto4Kids
They walked the earth millions of years ago. Yet no one knows the exact reason why these magnificent creatures simply disappeared from the globe. Today, dinosaurs continue to captivate our movie screens and crowd our toy shelves. They have remained an ongoing fascination for both the young and old.
Residents in the GTA can now get one step closer to the dinosaur era by heading to the Toronto Zoo to see "Dinosaurs Alive". The exhibit brings visitors face-to-face with the giant predators. Be prepared to meet 16 moving, roaring, robotic dinosaurs in a lifelike environment. What's exciting is that the kids can actually make the dinosaurs breathe, bellow and roar at the touch of a button. It's more than impressive -- and you will need to remind yourself more than once that that these are not for real!
This is the largest display of animated life-size dinosaurs in the world, which features 16 interactive animatronic dinosaurs including the Tyrannosaurus Rex, the Stegosaurus, the Triceratops, and many more! Sounds and special effects recreate life in the Mesozoic Era. Skeletons and fossils of Chinese dinosaurs are also being exhibited in Ontario for the very first time.
It's an incredibly realistic and imaginative exhibit! Dinosaurs Alive will entertain, educate, and fulfill the ongoing fascination that children have with dinosaurs. They will tremble with excitement at the magnificence of these fearfully great reptiles. The exhibit is free with general admission to the Toronto Zoo.
So see it while you can … as of October 8, these dinosaurs will disappear all over again!
