Majestically located on the edge of the historic Carrying Place Trail that runs through the Humber River Valley, the McMichael’s grounds offer a wealth of highlights for lovers of Canadian art. These in-person outdoor tours will tell the story of the McMichael and provide an opportunity for visitors to explore the Group of Seven cemetery, Tom Thomson’s shack, the famous Sculpture Garden and outdoor installations by well-known Indigenous artists. 4. Explore Artwork Across the City with BigArtTO
Friday, September 25 to Saturday, September 26, 2020
Explore Artwork Across the City. Experience art illuminated at BigArtTO, a city-wide public art celebration featuring free access to over 200 hours of temporary public artworks projected onto local buildings and landmarks. Created by Toronto artists, the projections will play Wednesday through Saturday in each of Toronto’s 25 wards allowing residents access to artwork without having to leave their neighbourhood. More


5. Do the Oasis ZooRun Virtual Race

Explore Toronto Through Self-guided Tours. Starting September 18, residents can play tourist in their city and discover the unexplored shops, stops, places and spaces within Toronto’s main streets. Free self-guided exploration guides are now available to take residents on a journey to uncover thriving main streets within each neighbourhood. From September 18 to October 4, visit the LEGO “Dot Your World” installation – Toronto’s Tom Thomson’s Canoe reimagined through LEGO DOTs. More
