Bamboo Bay Performing Arts Camp

Too often, we, as a society, neglect the part of the brain in charge of creativity. Investing in your children’s creative expression not only develops life-long artistic skills, but also benefits them socially and emotionally. Through the theatre, your children will build self-confidence and self-discipline; they will build their perseverance, dedication, and focus; and performing will help develop their oral and visual communication skills. This July, Bamboo Bay is offering a unique, enriching Performing Arts camp.

This camp is the perfect blend of all four creative arts branches. It will provide an opportunity for students to learn about the various aspects of presenting a successful show through engagement with acting, singing and movement techniques. Members of this camp will also have the opportunity to build on their Visual Art skills as they work together to create set and costume pieces for the final production. Students will work together in a positive, safe and creative team-building environment to perform a Musical Theatre Production for all to enjoy at the end of this three-week program.

I regard the theatre as the greatest of all art forms, the most immediate way in which a human being can share with another the sense of what it is to be a human being.” – Oscar Wilde
