Product Name: Petit Collage Musical Jumbo Wooden Xylophone

Description: This recall involves Petit Collage Musical Jumbo Wooden Xylophones.  The xylophone is a wooden musical instrument toy for children aged 18 months and over. It consists of a wooden base, shaped like the profile of an elephant with five colored metal keys, and a wooden beater stick with a red wooden ball attached to one end. The beater stick measures about 14 cm (5 5/8 inches) long by 2cm (3/4 inches) wide. "Petit Collage" and "TT.1902.0617" are printed on the back of the xylophone.

Hazard: The ball on the xylophone beater stick can separate, posing a choking hazard to young children. As of April 11, 2018, the company has received no reports of the ball separating from the beater stick and no reports of injuries related to the use of this product in Canada.  In the United States, the company has received one report of the ball separating from the beater stick and one report of the ball being loose on the beater stick and no reports of injuries. Approximately 240 units of the affected products were sold in Canada and approximately 2900 units were sold in the United States. The affected products were sold from September 2017 to January 2018 in Canada.

What to do: Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled product and contact the company for a replacement beater stick.
