Homemade Clay

Your kids will spend countless hours of fun making fun clay objects and animals. Make sure you have a large assortment of paints so they can decorate their works of art when dry. A small mist of acrylic spray will give it that perfect finish. Great for decorations or gift giving.

2 cups of flour

1 cup salt

1 cup water

1 ½ teaspoons of vegetable oil

Large mixing bowl

Cookie sheet

Washable paint

Acrylic spray

In mixing bowl, combine flour and salt. Gradually add water and vegetable oil. Combine until all ingredients are well mixed. Kids can mould or form the clay into desired shapes.

Bake at 250°F for 45 minutes or up to 1 hour.

Remove from the oven and allow cooling thoroughly before painting. Spray with an acrylic spray for a slight shiny finish.
