Scotiabank BuskerFest 2013
The buskers are back! Scotiabank BuskerFest in support of Epilepsy Toronto is Ontario's largest gathering of street performers. It's four days and four nights of continuous non-stop, side-splitting hilarity and family fun with some of the most talented and eccentric performers, geeks, oddities, artists, and musicians around. This is the place where you'll see out of the box entertainers run wild, where fire burns to be breathed, and where the only thing jugglers ever drop is your jaw. At every show and on every corner, the impossible happens right before your very eyes.
The festival is large so plan your visit by checking out the performance schedule to make sure you don't miss your favourite acts.
While the festival has taken place in the St. Lawrence Market District for the past year, this year it moves to the Downtown Yonge Street Neighbourhood (Yonge St. from Queen to Gerrard and adjacent streets and areas).
Buskerfest runs from August 22 to the 25, 2013 and admission is by voluntary donation to Epilepsy Toronto. Buskers also appreciate tips for their tricks.
Come out to laugh, smile, ooh, ahh, scream, and cheer.
