Suitcase Theatre, a not-for-profit children’s theatre company, was founded in 2008 by the original producer and creator of Mr. Dressup, one of Canada’s most loved and longest running children’s television shows. No matter what level you and your child are exploring, Suitcase Theatre offers exceptional programming for all ages including after school programs, classes, camps, and PA Day programs in the arts.
These MOM-APPROVED programs for children 12 months to 8 years, are developed and delivered by ECEs, certified teachers, and drama specialists. The company is run by Moms and has the support of other Moms (and Dads!) who believe in what the theatre does and the quality of programs delivered.

Involvement in the performing arts is a wonderful way for children to enjoy themselves and develop skills that will help them at all stages of life. It builds confidence and gives kids the tools they need to be stronger, and better citizens in society. Kids can sign up for improv, dance, puppetry, music, and comedy. All after-school programs, camps, and PA Day activities are currently being offered in Bloor West Village and in The Kingsway, and will soon be expanding to other areas of the GTA.
