Bird Kingdom in Niagara Falls Has Reopened

Bird Kingdom, a world class attraction located a 5 minute walk from Niagara Falls, has reopened as of June 19, 2020. It's the world’s largest free-flying indoor aviary where you'll discover hundreds of tropical birds as you explore the pathways throughout the multi-level rainforest.

A true feast for the eyes, the balmy enclosure is home to roughly 400 feathered residents spanning 80 species — see rare, exotic, unusual-looking and vibrantly hued bird species in their native habitats. But Bird Kingdom isn’t strictly an avian-only affair. The facility is also home to a range of curious owls, bats and fascinating nocturnal creatures.

Here are the new guidelines when visiting the attraction. Masks are required for guests. Bring your own, or purchase a single-use paper mask for just $1. Social distancing is required at all times and floors have been marked to guide you. There will be hand sanitizing stations located in lobby and various areas throughout the attraction.

Due to COVID-19, there will be no contact with the animals or birds. The 'Meet friendly parrots and exotic animals at Bird Kingdom’s Animal Encounters' attraction is not available, and the 'Lorikeet Landing Experience' where you can feed and interact with the playful lorikeet birds is closed. Also closed is the Café.

Bird Kingdom is open all year-long. Hours of operation are 9:30 am to 5:00 pm, with last admission at 4:15 pm. Be sure to bring your camera as you encounter exotic birds and animals up close in their natural habitats.

Bird Kingdom is an exciting adventure that is fun for all ages.

Tickets can be purchased online and you'll save $2 on all tickets if purchased ahead. Find out more at www.birdkingdom.ca.
