My little boy’s favourite place in Toronto is Roundhouse Park. In addition to the great location (right across from the CN Tower and Rogers Centre and easily accessible via the TTC subway or streetcar), it also happens to be quite a unique place. The park is home to the Toronto Railway Heritage Centre, Steam Whistle Brewery, and the most interesting looking Leon’s Furniture Store.
Some of the highlights of the location are the vintage CN trains, a functional turntable, original train tracks, and two on-site playgrounds for kids 2-12 years old. During summer weekends, a mini steam engine rides around the grounds (tickets can be purchased for $2.00).
