Our Trip to Centreville Amusement Park

Just a short ferry ride from downtown Toronto, Centreville Amusement Park is nestled within Centre Island's lush parkland. With over thirty rides and attractions, including a steam train, carousel, vintage car ride, and bumper boats, Centreville is the ideal spot for thrill-seeking kids.

Our View from the Ferry

The Toronto Ferry Docks are located foot of Bay Street and Queens Quay, just West of the Westin Harbour Castle Hotel. The Ferry schedule is available on-line and fares range from $6.50 for adults, $3.00 for kids under 14, and free for children under 2 years of age.

Centre Island is beautiful – green grass, landscaped gardens, plenty of willow trees, and lake views. Bring a camera and pack a picnic.

There is quite a bit of walking once you get off the Ferry and make your way to Centreville. I recommend bringing a stroller if you are traveling with a young child. My son was happy to walk in the morning, but by the end of the day, it was a completely different story.

Centreville is open until late September, check the calendar for specific times. Note that the ferry and island are very busy on weekends. If possible, plan to go on a weekday.
