Spadina Museum's Gatsby Garden Party

On Sunday afternoon, Toronto's Spadina Museum hosted a Gatsby Garden Party. The lush grounds set the scene for flapper girls, dapper dressed gentlemen, and bow tie wearing kids enjoying pink lemonade and vanilla ice cream cones.

The Lawrence Park Lawn Bowling Club set up a game for guests and even children were encouraged to participate (and break the rules a little). Musical melodies by Allen-Murat-Taft Swing Trio and Combo Royale played throughout the garden and the Sugar Shakers taught the Charleston to dance-lovers. There was even a chance for guests to peek inside the historic Spadina House and marvel at the embellishments of 1920's decor while solving a who-done-it mystery.

The Gatsby Garden Party was the perfect way to fill a Sunday with jazz-age fun and revelry.
