Disney's Cinderella (2015)

We're getting very excited about Kenneth Branagh's Cinderella movie, especially now that there are brand new character posters. Walt Disney Studios has unveiled another glimpse into the world of Cinderella, the upcoming feature film coming to theatres on March 13, 2015. This live-action retells the classic fairy tale about a servant step-daughter who wins the heart of a prince.

Not only do we get a new look at the actors in the film inhabiting these famous characters, but it’s another chance to pore over the incredible work of Oscar-winning costume designer Sandy Powell, who has clearly met and exceeded the task of doing justice to such a visually iconic Disney story.

A live-action feature inspired by the classic fairy tale, Cinderella brings to life the timeless images from Disney’s 1950 animated masterpiece as fully-realized characters in a visually-dazzling spectacle for a whole new generation.

The film stars Cate Blanchett, Lily James, Richard Madden, Stellan Skarsgård, Holliday Grainger, Derek Jacobi, and Helena Bonham Carter. Directed by Kenneth Branagh from a screenplay by Chris Weitz, Cinderella is produced by Simon Kinberg, Allison Shearmur, and David Barron.
