Star Wars Pop-Up Store

Toronto is feeling the force of "Star Wars" as a small pop-up shop opens on Queen Street.

Die-hard Star Wars fans who are eagerly awaiting the release of The Force Awakens which opens in theatres on December 18, have one more thing to celebrate! Disney has opened a Star Wars pop-up store at 277 Queen St. West. Drop by to see amazing replicas of the movie characters, created by U.K. company Prop Shop, who also worked on the film. Fans can have free photos taken with BB-8 and enjoy video clips throughout the space. If you're looking for last-minute gifts, you can pick up Star Wars T-shirts for $25.

This little pop-up shop is the perfect destination for Star Wars fans! Catch a glimpse of life-sized replicas of Rey, Kylo Ren, Captain Phasma, BB-8 and a stormtrooper. The store is open until December 21 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Try to go early during the day, as it can get busy. When the pop-up store first opened, fans were waiting in line for up to 2 hours.

Note that the space is very small, but well worth the visit for Star Wars fans who want to get a sneak peek of these life-size characters before the movie hits the screens. Toronto is the only North American city hosting this pop-up store.

Special events and guest appearances will be unveiled over the course of the exhibit so look out for posts via social media using the hashtag #TheForceAwakensTO.

Will you be going to the Star Wars pop-up store?
