Ross Petty's Lil' Red Robin Hood: Big Fun and Big Laughs

If you've been to a Ross Petty show, you know that Petty takes beloved fairy tales and fractures them to the delight of his audience. If you've never experienced these holiday pantos, you're in for a treat. Brimming with pop tunes, dances, ad-libs and plotlines that reflect today's news, Petty wraps these shows up with Canada's finest musical theatre performers, a live band and an abundance of audience participation.

In LIL' RED ROBIN HOOD your family will be transported, through the magic of time travel, to the 16th century "Sherway Gardens Forest" where our hero Lil' Red learns that the evil Sheriff of "NaughtyHam" has banned education. Maid Marion is a modern-day noblewoman and teacher fighting the ban along with Robin Hood, Friar Tuck and, back by popular demand, the uproarious Sugar Bum.

For the most joyous holiday treat, bring your family to Toronto's historic Winter Garden Theatre and give them the greenest gift of all: LIL' RED ROBIN HOOD!

This 24th production moves upstairs to the gorgeous forest setting of the Winter Garden Theatre. The show features Robert Markus, the star of DEAR EVAN HANSEN,  AJ Bridel, the star of KINKY BOOTS, SNOW WHITE and A CHRISTMAS CAROL, and everyone’s favourite farceur Eddie Glen.

Here's what critics are saying...

The Toronto Star says "LIL' RED ROBIN HOOD is one of the top shows to see in 2019!"

"No holiday season is complete without a Ross Petty production. Big laughs and big fun for the whole family" - CTV

The show runs until January 4, 2020. For more information and tickets, visit
